Considered the backbone to the company, Servus Limited has always taken an avid interest in their most valued asset, their employees. Started in August 2013, the Servus Health and Safety Committee introduced the Healthy Lifestyle Initiative by hosting the company’s first Health Week. The week began with lectures on Fitness, HIV/Aids, Diabetes and Safe Driving and concluded with a Health Fair which entitled all staff and even the walk-in public, to participate in testing for HIV/Aids, Cancer, Diabetes, Cholesterol and more.
This annual exercise was expanded in 2016 to include a bi-annual Blood Drive and a Healthy Breakfast Program. These initiatives, which form part of Servus’ commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle, earned the full support of the Servus management team. Exercises such as these have gone a long way toward fostering a health conscious culture that has benefitted employees on a company-wide scale.
Serves remains vigilant in promoting initiatives that will positively impact the overall health and quality of life of all its employees.
