Our Year in Review
2017 was packed full of exciting new ventures across our diversifying business portfolio. Team Servus plunged head-first into 2017 with the mission of maintaining service excellence while exceeding client expectations. Our continued commitment to providing high quality business services combined with ground-breaking technologies ensured that the past 12 months were particularly rewarding for us. As we reminisced on the highs and lows of the last year, we could not help but take this trip down memory lane.
The year was off to an eventful start as we celebrated fifteen years of service excellence with an elegant rooftop cocktail. Held at the picturesque Savannah East building, guests were treated to an evening of live entertainment and great cuisine. As the year progressed, Team Servus continued to champion the significance of Facilities Management services at the prestigious Trinidad and Tobago Energy Conference and the Caribbean Facilities Management Conference and Expo.
Our Servus family grew quite significantly, with expansion of the Project Management department and the continued expansion of our janitorial division. Like any family, we had our differences of opinion but we banded together when time called for it. When our island chain was hard hit by natural disasters during the course of the year, staff members gave generously to both local and regional requests for aid.
Recognizing and rewarding employee contributions and accomplishments are crucial to maintaining our culture. Quarterly announcements of MRI Champion and Employee of the Quarter were done consistently and culminated at our annual End of Year event. On this night, Manager of the Year, Custodian of the Year, Best Technical Support, Best Administrative Support and the most coveted Employee of the Year prizes were awarded.
Despite the adverse market conditions and the general feel of economic uncertainty, Servus remains committed to continuous improvement and the expansion of services in order to meet the evolving needs of our clients. Through ongoing investment in our people, technology and services, we remain steadfastly committed to being the premier integrated FM services provider locally and in the English speaking Caribbean ultimately.
